The fourth annual Adams County Run/Walk Challenge series that has been solely sponsored since its inception by the Adams County Community Foundation has recently gained the financial backing of Custom Car Care of Decatur to assist with the costs of timing for the various races in the series, according to an announcement.
The Challenge Series — which resumes this Saturday with the fifth annual Run Over Violence — has grown from six events in 2010 to 10 for 2013 with the expectation of at least one more race in 2014, the announcement said.
With the support of Dan Evans and his staff from Custom Car Care more of the funds raised at each event will be able to be used by each of the race organizers for their respective causes, according to Barry Humble, coordinator of the Adams County Challenge Series.
