Carolyn Poling

    Carolyn Poling, 63, Decatur, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Woodcrest Nursing Center. She was born Nov. 1, 1949, to the late Curtis and Mary (Speakman) Hill in Blackford County.
    Carolyn was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and the knitting club at the church. She was also a member of the former Eastern Star.
    Among survivors are two daughters, Sarah (Andrew) Garno of Columbus, Ohio, and Amanda (Robert) Andrews of Decatur; two brothers, Kenneth (Carolyn) Hill of Scott, Ohio, and Phillip (Gayle) Baker of Hartford City; and five grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by two sisters.
    Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Haggard Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Pastor Phil Emerson officiating.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
