Two adult men look like dolls atop the huge mound of trees and other debris in the St. Marys River under the Macklin Bridge on Monroe St. as work began on Oct. 19 to remove that logjam. Tim Yarberry Landscaping and Excavating of Anderson is doing the work, which may be completed this week. The firm was hired by state officials because the bridge is also the right-of-way of US 224.
