Call wins bridge contest

    IPFW recently held its 22nd annual Engineers Week Model Bridge Contest, with 60 students from 13 northeast Indiana counties.
    Defending Champion Mason Call, a sophomore at Adams Central High School, once again took the Grand Prize with a bridge that topped 680 pounds, a new record.
    The purpose of the competition is to build the lightest, strongest bridge possible — with 200 popsicle sticks and wood glue.
