Several attempts to reach Bunge North America officials before the Daily Democrat's publishing deadline this morning were unsuccessful, but unofficial reports said the main injured in a fall in a silo on Friday was Ben Ellenberger of Decatur.
Apparently, Ellenberger's only serious injury was a separated shoulder.
According to reports, Ellenberger was struck by something which knocked him off balance and into the silo where he fell an estimated 12 to 15 feet.
He was taken out of the silo by Decatur firefighters and other emergency personnel and taken to Adams Memorial Hospital.
