The primary suspect in a Van Wert, Ohio double shooting has been arrested and is charged with murder, according to a spokesman for the Van Wert Police Department.
    Shortly after 10 a.m. Friday Van Wert Police Lt. Douglas Weigle confirmed Tamara K. Menke, 47, Van Wert, was apprehended after an exhaustive search. Police received a 911 call around 6 p.m. Thursday with reports of a shooting, according to Weigle. Upon arrival police discovered two persons had been shot and Menke, who was identified as the primary suspect, was on the loose.
    Police began a massive search for Wenke, who they warned was armed and dangerous, but were unable to locate the suspect until early Friday morning, according to the news release. Several agencies were involved in the search including the Van Wert Police, Van Wert Sheriff's Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
    Wenke is facing a murder charge in the shooting death of Barbara Robinson. The second victim, whose name was not released, is reportedly in stable condition at a Fort Wayne hospital with a gun shot would to his thigh.
    More charges are pending, according to Weigel. The relationship between Wenke and her alleged victims has not been released.
