The Braves' golfers did it again on Tuesday night beating the rain at Cross Creek to defeat a tough Homestead team, 153-164 to remain undefeated on the season with a 9-0 mark overall (4-0 in NHC).
Sophomore Chase Ellsworth continues his hot shooting earning a 35 (-1) on Cross Creek's par 36 back nine to lead the Braves. Nathan Kortenber was just behind with a 37 (+1) for the one-two punch Bellmont needed. Homestead's Kyle Davis earned a 39 (+3), good enough for third place overall.
Other Bellmonters that aided in the win were Zach Wetzel shooting a 40, Andy Hess, who is proving to be a great fit at the number five slot for the Braves, shot an decent 41, with Corey Coshow rounded out the Bellmont scores with a 51.
Homestead's Gunnar Smith shot a 40 on the day with Chris Eigner earning a 42, Saurabh Sharma a 43, and Grant Jagger a 47 for the Spartans.
