Braves slam Bruins 8-1

    HARTFORD CITY — Blackford scored on and early break away but it was all BHS after that. Alex Hammond broke the ice 10 minutes in for his first of 3 goals on the night.
    Other braves adding to the tally were Dan Worth with 2 goals and 2 assists, Holland Herman with 2 goals and 1 assist, Andy Hess with 1 goal and 1 assist, and Cameron Beinz added an assist.
    After a shakey start, Willie Mahlan and Taylor got the defense under control allowing only 6 shots on goal. Freshman Caleb Schell allowed 1 goal in the first half with 2 saves. Jeremy Fuhrman picked up 3 saves for the Braves in the 2nd half.
