Bracket Challenge heads into the Sweet 16

March 26, 2014

After the first week of the NCAA tournament, it has been one of the most topsy-turvy competitions in recent memory as upstarts like Dayton, Tennessee, and Stanford look to make their name, and perennial powerhouses have made shocking early exits like Kansas, Duke, Syracuse, and number one seed Wichita State.
In the DDD competition, it has not been a good year to be a "DDD Pro" as only Jannaya Andrews (43) and Ron Storey (42) are in the 40s after three complete rounds. As for the readers' pool, James Compton (51) leads the pack as the only bracket with 50 points, while Leon Byer and Don Carper are just behind with 48s.
The Sweet 16 round is Thursday and Friday with each game counting as three points. The Elite Eight round will count as four points a game, while the Final Four games will be five points apiece. The National Championship earns brackets a whopping 10 points. Here are the results up to date.
