Bonnie E. Frantz

    Bonnie E. Frantz, 78, Eloy, Ariz. and Bluffton, died March 15, 2014, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande, Ariz.
    A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Poneto Baptist Church with Pastor Alan Crull officiating. Visitation hours are 10-11 a.m., with services at 11 a.m.
    Mrs. Frantz was born March 17, 1935, in Berne, to Beryl and Florence Harman. On Sept. 3, 1969, she married the love of her life, Larry Frantz Sr., who passed away January 25, 2012.
  She was a loving, kind, caring and giving person. Devoted to her children and grandchildren, she was always willing to help anyone in need. She was an active  member of Toltec Evangelical Methodist Church and proud to be a Registered Nurse, having worked at both Caylor-Nickel Hospital as Charge Nurse of 1st floor, and Meadowvale Care Center as the Director of Nursing, as well as other facilities in her very successful career.
    Survivors include four sons, Dennis L. (Janice) Roop of Monroeville, Anthony L. (Terra) Roop of Decatur, Charles H. (Janice) Roop of Mammoth, Ariz. and Larry E. (Jessica) Frantz Jr. of Preble; three daughters, Shari L. (Thomas) Faucher of Marine City, Mich., Debra J. West of Bluffton and Rebecca J. (Kipp) Schlichter of Ossian; three brothers, Robert Harman of Onaway, Mich., Joseph Harman of St. Clair, Mich. and Verl Gene Harman of Clay, Mich.; five sisters, Gloria Brodbeck of Decatur, Joyce Clemons of Algonac, Mich. Mildred Kay of Fort Gratiot, Mich., Joan Wilson of Apache Junction, Ariz. and Francis Cox of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Two daughters, Anjie Roop and Brenda Overmier; a grandson, Shawnce Browning; and a sister, Ellen Polander, preceded her in death.
    Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
