Body of missing kayaker found

    The body of a Decatur man missing since Friday has been located in the St. Marys River.
    At approximately 10:15 a.m. Monday, the Decatur Fire Department, who was assisting the Department of Natural Resources in the search efforts, recovered the body of Steve Seitz, 54, who has been missing since the kayak he was operating near Pleasant Mills struck a log jam and overturned.
    Seitz was thrown into the water and did not resurface. He was not wearing a life jacket when the boat overturned, according to conservation officers.
    The search began Friday around 8:20 p.m. and continued throughout the weekend.
