Bellmont Middle School recently held its third annual NASA Camp.
NASA Camp is a space-themed, hands-on opportunity for Bellmont Middle School students to become fully immersed in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). NASA developed its “Summer of Innovation” program to assist educators in providing STEM that relates to space.
Supported by the four-year 21st Century Community Learning Center grant from the Indiana Department of Education, Karrie Hamilton, BMS Literacy Coach and site coordinator for the 21st Century after-school program, and Keith Dicke, Northwest Elementary School principal, held the camp for BMS students.
