At least ten thousand protest in Kosovo's capital Pristina against the UN's amended plan for deployment of a European Union police and justice mission. The protesters say the revised plan is a step toward partition along ethnic lines. Kosovo declared independence after nine years of U.N. administration of the province after Serbian forces were forced to leave after a NATO bombing campaign. |
