Big prize up for grabs at Monday game

February 15, 2013

Warm up those shootin' arms if you plan to attend Monday's benefit basketball game pitting the Adams County Crime Fighters against the K105 All Stars.
In observance of 15 years of playing benefit games, K105 is offering a contest in which someone attending the game here could win $15,000.
At halftime, those who sign up must accomplish the following to win the big prize: make a layup, then a free throw, then a three-pointer and then a halfcourt shot — all within 25 seconds.
K105 said in an announcement that those who cannot sign up are anyone who has coached or played within the last five years in junior high, high school, college, semipro or pro.
The game is scheduled for the Bellmont gym, starting at 7 p.m. Tickets at the doors will be $4 for adults, $2 for students, with children under 5 admitted free.  All proceeds will go to the Adams County Crime Stoppers.
Jenna Razo’s Razz-M-Jazz dance studio will perform.
