The Adams County 4-H Fair has crowned a Miss Adams County, Kaylea Kongar, and tonight it will crown its 2012 Royal Ambassador.
Tuesday is always one of the biggest nights for the 4-H annual event and tonight will hold to that tradition. The parade, led by grand marshals Gloria Sommer and Shirley Steiner, will begin to roll through the streets of Monroe at 7.
Following the parade, attention will shift to the fair stage where several recognitions will be given and the new Royal Ambassador will be announced.
Vying for the title are Elizabeth Shaw, Dusty Gremaux, Elizabeth Liechty, Devan Barger, Lori Dunham, Ryan Hockemeyer, Cody Fuelling, Casey Krueckeberg, Macy Mudd, Logan Roe.
Despite the heat, a large turnout is expected.
The Royal Ambassador will begin his/her reign over the fair on Wednesday, which will get going with the dairy show at 8:45 a.m. The goat show is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., the Horse and Pony Senior Show at 5 p.m. and the beef show at 6 p.m.
