OSSIAN — Bellmont's freshman volleyball team won four matches Saturday and took the title in the Norwell Freshmen Invitational.

The Squaws won their pool, then took out East Noble 25-6, 25-10, in the championship match.
Taylor Rhymer led the way with 8 kills, 2 aces and 3 digs as Bellmont improved to 15-0 overall.
Madison Glancy put down 5 kills with a dig while Olivia Fuelling had 4 kills, 5 aces and 4 digs. Emily Smith scored 5 aces with 4 digs and a kill for BHS. Jordan Gilbert led with 16 assists.
Jessah Okoniewski pulled up 4 digs and an ace while Jordan Rumschlag had 2 blocks and a kill. Madison Cook had 2 aces an assist. Miranda Voglewde added 3 digs.
In a 25-12, 25-18 win over Carroll, Fuelling launched 7 kills with 12 digs, 4 aces and a block. Rhymer added 8 kills, 7 digs and 2 aces while Rumschlag had 5 kills and a block kill. Voglewede had 4 digs while Cook had 4 digs and 2 aces. Gilbert lifted 16 assists with 3 digs, a kill and an ace. Hayley Swaidner had 2 assists with a kill and Smith added 7 digs.
Okoniewski had 5 digs and an ace.
Bellmont blasted Northrop 25-17, 25-17 as Fuelling slammed in 11 kills with 7 digs and 2 aces. Rhymer added 7 kills and 9 digs while Gilbert had 20 assists and 3 digs. Glancy knocked down 4 kills while Okoniewski recorded 9 digs. Smith had 8 digs and 4 aces, Voglewede 3 digs, Cook 5 digs and 3 aces and Voglewede 3 digs.
Rymer added 9 kills and 5 digs to lead a 25-16, 25-10 win over DeKalb. Fuelling had 2 kills and 5 digs, Glancy 3 kills, and Rumschlag 2 kills, 2 blocks and 2 digs. Smith socked home 6 aces with 7 digs while Gilbert had 9 assists and 2 digs. Voglewede recorded 2 aces and Okoniewski 2 digs.
