Berne resident sent to prison

    Nicholas S. Handshoe, 41, Berne, recently pleaded guilty in Adams Circuit Court to several charges and was given prison time by Judge Chad E. Kukelhan.
    Guilty pleas were entered to invasion of privacy, possession of methamphetamines, resisting law enforcement, and violating probation.
    For the probation violation, 855 days of his previously suspended sentence were revoked, to be served in prison. He was sentenced to two years in prison for meth possession, and a year for resisting law enforcement, with those sentences to be served concurrently.
