Bernadine Ruth Bleeke

    Bernadine Ruth Bleeke, 78, of Decatur, passed away at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Ossian Health Care Center, where she had been a patient for four days.
    Bernadine was born on Wednesday, October 11, 1933, in Adams County, to the late Joseph C. and Adelia L. (Young) Bleeke.
    She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Decatur, and was a member of the Ladies Aid of the church. Bernadine was a homemaker.
    Among survivors are several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Bleeke; and two brothers, Vernand F. Bleeke and Eugene Bleeke.
    Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church.    
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at  Immanuel Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Koeneman officiating.
    Burial will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Worship For Shut Ins.
