Beatrice G. "Bea" Daniels

    Beatrice G. "Bea" Daniels, 86, of Berne, passed away at 12:44 p.m., on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in the Swiss Village Community Center.
    Bea was a lifelong resident of the Monroeville area.
    Bea was born on Wednesday, May 20, 1925, in Allen County, Ind., the daughter of the late Charles C. and Etta Belle (Murfield) Ball.
    She married the late Doyle A. "Butch" Daniels on June 7, 1947; he passed away on June 29, 1980.
    Bea was a member of the Monroeville Church of the Nazarene and retired in 1976 from International Harvester after 31 years of service.
    Among survivors are her sister, Rosetta Skinner, of Manassas, Va; stepgrandchild Mike (Anita) Saam of Bucyrus, Ohio; stepgrandchild Teresa Wyeth,of Bucyrus; stepgrandchild Ron (Becky) Reynolds of Grand Rapids, Mich.; stepgrandchild,Randy (Kathy) Reynolds of Decatur; stepgrandchild, Rex (Rena) Reynolds of Decatur; 18 stepgreat-grandchildren, and 31 stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Clarabelle Blocker and Florence Janet Saam; a sister, Edith Littlejohn; and six brothers, Kenneth, Corless, Ray, Lloyd, James, and Eugene Ball.
    Friends will be received from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, in Monroeville, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, in the Monroeville Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Brent Hickman officiating.
    Burial will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Monroeville Church of the Nazarene.
