Barbara M. Buckey

    Barbara Maxine Buckey, 88, Decatur, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
    She was born on April 13, 1925, in Indianapolis to the late William and Lelia (Watson) Follett.
    Barbara attended Calvary Lutheran Church, Bluffton. She retired as a factory worker at Red Gold and was a member of the V.F.W. women's auxiliary in Decatur.
    She is survived by a niece, Melissa (Joe) Avalos, Decatur; a great-nephew, Joshua (Kelly) Avalos, Van Wert, Ohio; a great-niece, Nancy (Adam) Bender, Carmel; and a great-nephew, Andrew Joe Avalos, Van Wert, Ohio.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Moore, who was killed in action during Vietnam; and two sisters, Nancy Groves and Billie Teeter.
    Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home.
    Funeral service will follow also at the funeral home.
    Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Geneva.
