April 9, 2014

The North Adams Community Schools’ board of education on Tuesday approved the appointment of Aaron Baker to become the new principal at Southeast Elementary School beginning the 2014-15 school year. Baker currently serves as vice principal at Bellmont High School.
The board met Tuesday evening for its monthly session, during which votes were cast to finalize Baker’s appointment. He will succeed longtime Southeast Principal Neal Rich, who announced his retirement plans, effective at the end of the current school year, in February.
