April Ann Thompson

    April Ann Thompson, 51, of Decatur, passed away at 4:11 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2012, in the Van Wert Hospital Emergency Room.
    She was born on Wednesday, March 8, 1961, in Bryan, Ohio, to Eugene A. Thompson and Mary S. (Caperton) Thompson.
    April was formerly employed by Dolco Packaging for 32 years.
    Among survivors are her daughter, Starr (Adam) Bell of Decatur; sons, Robert (Nateshia) Thompson-Witte of Monroe; Talon Wolfe of Rockford, Ohio; and Dustin Wolfe of Rockford; mother, Mary S. Thompson of Decatur; father, Eugene A. Thompson of Ossian; brothers, Monte "Bud" Thompson of Van Wert and Martin "Marty" Thompson of Convoy; sisters, Terry Rennels of Van Wert; Brenda Sue (Craig) Thieme of Monroe; and Cindy Lou Jackson of Decatur; and seven grandchildren, MaCenzie Thompson-Witte, Chase Thompson-Witte, Seth Thompson-Witte, Bradley Bell, Braiden Bell, Alexandra Bell, and Aeriana LeeAnn Bell (soon to arrive).
    She was preceded in death by a brother, in infancy, Eugene A. Thompson III.
    Visitation will be from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Phillip Phifer officiating.
    Burial will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.
