Alice G. Fullenkamp

    Alice G. Fullenkamp, 94, of Decatur, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    Alice was born November 29, 1918, in Adams County to the late Fred E. and Amelia R. (Kohne) Baker.
    On May 5, 1945, she married Ernest B. Fullenkamp; he preceded her in death on July 4, 1975.
    Alice was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and Rosary Society, and she actively volunteered at the church for many years. She was a homemaker and worked for the Galley Restaurant for 28 years.
    Among survivors are three sons, William E. (Joyce) Fullenkamp, Alvin F. (Marta) Fullenkamp and Joseph A. (Lori) Fullenkamp, all of Decatur; three daughters, Mary Lou (John) Binegar, Rose M. (Dan) Strickler and Ann M. (Tony) Isch, all of Decatur; sister, Lucille Filips of Decatur; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
    Alice was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia; five brothers; a sister; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
    Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday, August 5, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home with reciting of the Holy Rosary at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will also be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, at St. Mary’s Parish Hall.
    A 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with Fr. David Voors presiding.
    Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to St. Mary's Building on Our Heritage or St. Joseph School.
