Three student groups at Adams Central High School will again sponsor a Veterans' Day program on Tuesday, November 9, at 1:30 p.m. in AC's main gymnasium.
An announcement said the guest speaker will be retired command sergeant-major Frederick "Fritz" Bultemeyer of rural Decatur, who served in Vietnam and Afghanistan.
Sponsors of the event are the AC History Club, AC's chapter of the National Honor Society, and the school's chapter of the Sunshine Society.
The program, with a theme of "Together We Stand," will honor past and present military personnel from Adams County, with a reception afterwards.
The program will include music by the Adams Central Band and songs by AC's Swing Choir and Fifth Dimensions chorus.
The public is encouraged to attend, especially veterans and their families, school officials said.
