AC travel team wins Wahoo Frenzy

    Adams Central's traveling senior league team, sponsored by Kintz Insurance, traveled to the Wahoo Frenzy in Wabash, Indiana last week and came home hoisting the gold.
    The tournament featured 16 high school teams including regional teams like Bellmont, Homestead, Garrett, Bluffton, Mishawaka, West Noble, and Plymouth.
    The AC squad started out with an impressive 11-1 win over the Squaws of Bellmont, then followed it up with a close 10-9 win against Elkhart Memorial. In their third game, AC won a pitcher's duel, 2-1 over Homestead to earn the right to play in the finals where they defeated Bremen, 7-6 to take the crown.
