AC staff changes set; Fawcett exits track post

June 17, 2013

More staffing changes are coming to Adams Central as the board of education approved several personnel moves Tuesday.
High school cross country coach Terry Fawcett submitted his letter of resignation, effective immediately. Fawcett said he has thoroughly enjoyed the kids he has coached through the years and thanked the athletic department for their support over the years.
When asked by board president Wes Kuntzman if anyone wanted to speak on Fawcett's resignation, John Sipe replied, 'I'd rather he not retire!'  Sipe said Fawcett has done a great job in everything he has coached, and had spoken with Sipe at graduation, where Fawcett told him he would like to spend more time with his grandchildren.
Stephanie Bluhm, who worked the school's latchkey program, resigned her position, effective immediately. Elementary Principal Terri Laurent said Bluhm did a wonderful job in latchkey and will be missed.
