Adams Central senior Abby Busse has been named recipient of the four-year, full-tuition 2014 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship, according to an announcement from the Adams County Community Foundation. Busse will receive full tuition for eight semesters to the Indiana college of her choice, as well as a $900 yearly stipend for required books.
Busse, the daughter of Robert and Julie Busse of rural Decatur, will attend Ball State University this fall and plans to major in elementary education. It is expected this scholarship award will be worth approximately $50,000.
“I am overwhelmingly thankful for this scholarship,” said Busse upon receiving the award. “I feel so blessed to have this honor.”
