For the third year in a row, Adams Central junior Mason Call took first place — along with $300 — in the Bridge Building Contest held recently at IPFW's College of Engineering, Technology and Computer Science.
The AC Board of Education honored Call, along with Project Lead the Way (PLTW) teacher Jonathan Patterson, Tuesday for the innovative thinking Call has demonstrated in not only winning the event, but breaking long-standing records in the process.
Patterson said Call demonstrates a knack for thinking about things in a different perspective which allowed him to approach the project in a manner that separated him from other contestants.
