AC netters blank Vikings

    Adams Central blanked Huntington North on Monday in boys' varsity and reserve tennis, winning by a combined score of 9-0. The games were played at Huntington.
    The Flying Jets are 2-1 in varsity and 3-0 in reserve.
    The 5-0 varsity victory included these results:
    —Nathan Barger over Ben North, 6-0 and 6-0.
    —Jon Weil over Aaron Gilmore, 6-4 and 6-0.
    —Conner Lengerich over Matt Sieburns, 6-0 and 6-0.
    —Derek Roe and Keaton Fiechter over Cameron Buzzald and Tommy Bolinger, 6-3 and 6-0.
    —Jacob Weil and Isaac Luginbill over Wyatt Nave and Josh North, 6-2 and 6-2.
    In JV play, these were the scores:
    •Pierce Harris over Nate Landy, 8-2.
    •Ben Kaehr over Nate Landy, 8-2.
    •Jacob Bergdall and Cody Walburn over Jacob Klingaman and David Pranther, 8-3.
    •Luke Marbach and Isaac Bransteter over Jacob Klingaman and David Pranther, 6-0.
    The next AC tennis matches are today at Blackford.
