AC extends school day by 1 hour

February 27, 2014

With the extreme winter Adams County has experienced this year, causing area schools to cancel more than 10 days of classes, the question of how — and when — students will make up those days has been in the forefront of the minds of many area parents.
With that in mind, and graduation scheduled for June 1, Adams Central Schools will be extending the school day by one hour beginning Monday. Students will attend classes from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays, when AC staff have professional development, students will attend class from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
