3-hour school delays will continue at AC

June 12, 2014

The three-hour school delay option will be retained by Adams Central Schools for 2014-15, online registration will not be implemented and making up lost school days online may be looked at in the near future.
At its meeting on Tuesday, the AC board of education agreed to keep the three-hour delay for the entire school year.
The board approved the option last April after numerous weather-related cancellations. It was not used, but Superintendent Dr. Lori Richmond said Tuesday the option could prove invaluable, especially on fog days. “It could save us a day (that won’t need to be made up later),” she said.
