       To view Saturday's doubleheader, simply follow the appropriate link to the game. Game one between Concordia and the Braves will start at approximately 10 a.m. After Concordia plays Munster in game two at noon, the Braves will take the field once again playing the Mustangs at approximately 2:30 p.m. (depending on the time of the first two games). The first link below will be for game one with the second link taking you to game three. 

Seniors pave the way for Bellmont over Jay-Co, 4-1

    Bellmont coach Ben Fawbush put all seven of his seniors in the starting lineup for the entire game on Thursday night against Jay County for the Braves' final home game and the leaders of the team stepped up big landing BHS a 4-1 win over the Patriots.
    Senior night lived up to the expectations of the fans led by a seven inning complete game win for Dylan Call who struck out the final four batters he faced to put an exclamation point on the victory.

    MONROE—Adams Central coach Dave Neuenschwander said his squad's lone meeting with Bishop Luers each season, a final tune-up before sectional play begins next week, is a lot like this.
    Well, maybe not exactly like Wednesday's contest, a game that saw both teams combine for 29 runs, 29 hits, five home runs and eight pitchers, five for Adams Central and three for Bishop Luers.

Track Squaws dominate New Haven sectional

    NEW HAVEN—Bellmont set the pace early for a dominating performance in the 2013 IHSAA girls sectional track meet Tuesday night at the Patrick D. Monaghan Track and Field Facility at New Haven High School and breezed its way to an easy team victory.
    Claiming victory for the first time as a team since 2002, Bellmont was never seriously threatened on the night as the Squaws of Coach Carl Risch won eight of the 16 events and finished no worse than second in 13 of the 16 events.

Lady Jets get eight in 1st, top SW 11-1

    MONROE—The Lady Jets improved to 14-6 on the season with an 11-1 win over the Lady Raiders at home on Monday night in a game that lasted just five innings.
    With a 10-1 lead in the bottom of the fifth, the Lady Jets needed just one run to end the game in a 10-run mercy rule. They would get that one run on just one swing of the bat when Bess Fiechter singled, then stole second and third before reaching home on a wild pitch for the game-ending run.

Schwaller’s blast keeps Jets rolling over ‘Busco, 1-0

    MONROE—With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Jets' left fielder Matt Schwaller did what Adams Central has done well all season long, win games late.
    Facing a full count and a 0-0 score, Schwaller blasted a walk-off solo homerun to lift the Jets to a victory over the visiting Churubusco Eagles, 1-0, in game one of their doubleheader.

Braves’ bats come alive in big win over Vikings, 11-1

    The Braves ended their four-game losing skid on Friday night as they hosted the Huntington North Vikings from 4A.
    Bellmont ended their offensive woes in a big way earning an 11-1 victory over the Vikings in a six-inning affair that was closed by three Braves' runs in the bottom half of the last inning.

Combs’ grand slam paces Jets past SA for 2nd time, 12-4

    MONROE—A six-run second inning fueled by a Dalton Combs grand-slam propelled the Flying Jets to a 12-4 ACAC victory over county-rival South Adams on Thursday night at the Hangar.
    The Jets soared over the Stars thanks to their offense that had been stifled slightly in their last few victories but broke out in a big way with 13 hits including two homeruns.
