The Northeast Hoosier Conference and the Allen County Athletic Conference each released their All-team lists this week as all three county schools were honored for their play.
Bellmont, finishing 3-4 in the NHC, drew just one player on the first team list while also nabbing a pair of selections to the honorable mention lists.

With entries in five events at the IHSAA girls state finals in track Friday evening, Bellmont coach Carl Risch says he believes his Squaws have a chance at finishing among the top 10 in the team standings.
Following the girls action on Saturday will be the boys state finals with Bellmont having the only entrant from Adams County in Cam Bienz in the high jump.
MONROE— Both Adams Central and South Adams advanced to the sectional baseball semi-finals on Saturday but neither would make it to the championship slate as Canterbury topped Woodlan, 1-0, in their first year in the 2A class.
Central drew the Cavaliers of Canterbury after downing Bluffton last week in the opening round and a dramatic catch in left field made the difference between extra innings and a loss for the Jets in game one, 2-1.
FORT WAYNE— Cameron Bienz will be the only Adams County boys track star to represent at Indiana University next week after placing second in the High Jump at Wayne High School on Thursday night.
Bishop Dwenger took top team points honors netting a total of 59.50, while Carroll managed 54 for second place. After that it was Lakeland with 46, Homestead and Marion tied with 39, and Northrop with 32.
The Braves draw near to sectional play next week as they entertain two tough squads in Concordia Lutheran and the #1 ranked team in 4A Munster. Bellmont takes on Concordia in the opening game slated for 10 a.m. Saturday morning. After Munster/Concordia play game two at approximately 1 p.m., the Braves suit up again against Munster around 4 p.m.
Tonight the Braves host the DeKalb Barons at the Teepee in a rainout conference game that was originally slated to be played against Jay County. The game is slated for a 5 p.m. start but due to distance it will likely be delayed. The DDD broadcast will begin approximately 15 minutes before gametime with the pre-game show brought to you by Baker and Sons Plumbing and Heating.

KINGSLAND— All three Adams County schools will be taking part in the tennis sectional semi-finals today along with Huntington North thanks to the results Wednesday in the opening round at Norwell High School.
The Bellmont Squaws defeated the Norwell Knights by a 3-2 margin rectifying a loss earlier this year to their NHC foes, while South Adams also earned a sectional win for the first time in several years by downing Bluffton 3-2.
