PORTLAND— The Starfire boys basketball team braved the snows while most of the region postponed on Saturday night falling big to Jay County on the road 61-32.
Jay County, the up and coming ACAC squad, got a taste from the smallest conference school in SA taking a 17-10 lead after one quarter and never looking back en route to a 3-1 start to their season. The Stars fell to 2-3 on the year with the loss.
Due to weather and road conditions, the basketball game has been postponed Saturday night. The DDD will try to coordinate when this game will be replayed and resume broadcasting that night tentatively. Sorry for the inconvenience.
