I’ve always said that one of the true benefits of DVDs is the chance to see your favorite TV series whenever you want to. Not only that, but it gives series a chance to be seen, especially when one series is programmed against another.

Somewhere out there in an area known as Decatur, Indiana — or perhaps its nearby regions — lives a person whose knowledge of history and desire to pose a question brought this city an unbelievable amount of fun and frolic — some of which is destined to carry into the future — and ignited a sense of civic pride and togetherness rarely seen.

It seems only natural that Hollywood has sought out new sources of inspiration for movies. They’ve sequelized and remade just about everything under the sun. So when word got out that they were taking a manga (Japanese comic) story and turning it into film, fans were both glad to hear it and concerned if they were dedicated to the original source. One of the most worthwhile agencies in Adams County received a much-deserved upward bump in its annual donation from Decatur City Council last week.
Council authorized a $12,000 payment to the Adams County Council on Aging, up from the $10,000 of the past two years when finances were extremely tight, but still not back to the $14,500 paid out annually prior to the major cuts of three years ago. The increase followed a pitch made at the recent council meeting by agency director Sharon Tester.

Have you ever watched a movie thinking beforehand it would be a good movie only to discover that it was just so-so once it finished? A movie that just leaves you feeling a bit bland, as if had you not watched it you wouldn’t notice it but that you thought was entertaining enough anyway? Such is the case with THE LINCOLN LAWYER.
