Earl M. Stucky, 91, of Berne, a former Monroe resident, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at Swiss Village Retirement Community.
He was born on October 13, 1919, in Berne to Erwin and Martha Liechty Stucky.
He married Marjorie M. Dotterer on October 12, 1940; she survives.
He was the former owner of Stucky Furniture in Monroe, a business that was in his family for 81 years.
Royce Robertson Lanson "Lanny" Woolfolk, 52, of Bumpass, Virginia, went to be with his Lord on Monday, September 12, 2011.
Lanny was a business owner in the timber industry and was recognized as Businessman of the Year for Louisa County in 1997.
He was active in various community and civic organizations and, as a conservationist, was a passionate steward and manager of wildlife and habitat.

Grace I. Green, a longtime resident of Decatur, died at 2:15 a.m. Monday in Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne.
She was born in Fort Wayne on November 17 to John R. and Mabel A. Hyde Savieo.
She married Richard D. Green on September 16, 1944, in Monroeville; he died on June 12, 2000.
Grace was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Women of the Moose at Lodge 1311, both in Decatur.
Kenneth H. Liechty, 86, of Berne, died at home on Tuesday.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne.
Helen B. Schnitz, 88, of Decatur, died at noon on Sunday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community.
She was born on July 29, 1923, in Huntington County to Mahlon D. and Mildred G. Beal Brown.
She married Richard K. Schnitz on November 13, 1943, in Bluffton; he survives.
She was the owner of Schnitz Accounting Service in Decatur from 1945 until retirement in 2001 and was also a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur.
Wayne B. Stuckey, 85, of 34 Willow Run, Woodcrest, Decatur, and formerly of Berne, died on Friday afternoon, September 16, 2011, at Woodcrest Retirement Community’s Nursing Center.
He was born on May 19, 1926, in Berne to Leslie I. and Elma (Winteregg) Stuckey.
The Adams County Council spent two and a half days last week working on the 2012 budget and reduced departmental budgets by more than $323,000. Council members will meet on October 11 to formally approve a budget that totals more than $11.6 million Among cuts next year are per diem payments made to the three county commissioners when they act in their capacity as members of the county drainage board. The council indicated that when the 2013 budget is prepared in 2012, all per diem payments will be eliminated except those required by state law.
Dylan Malone has been named sports editor of the Decatur Daily Democrat, Publisher Ron Storey announced.
Malone replaces Jim Hopkins, who retired after a recent heart attack. Malone has been covering South Adams football for the newspaper and was recommended by Hopkins for the post.
The Adams County Solid Waste District's board of trustees on Monday approved a change in financial trustees for the district's transfer station and landfill trust accounts. The process, prompted by the expiration of the two long-standing trust agreements with First Merchants Bank, ultimately will cost the district a significant amount of interest income annually.
