OSSIAN—Bellmont "set the tone" early Tuesday night in their varsity volleyball match with Norwell according to coach Craig Krull and thus a quick three-set match fell into the Squaws' win column by scores of 25-16, 25-16, and 25-11.
KINGSLAND— It took four sets for Adams Central to find their groove on a sluggish, Monday night volleyball contest, but in set five the Lady Jets dominated Norwell on the road to earn a big non-conference victory 25-20, 25-22, 24-26, 24-26, 15-4.
"It was definitely a Monday game," said AC coach Ashley Beard. "We came out flat and did not play very well tonight."
FORT WAYNE—As she has been getting accustomed to, Bellmont's Bailey Beery led a parade of 171 runners to the finish line of the AA Division of the New Haven Girls Cross Country Invitational Saturday and successfully defended her individual title with a time of 18:24.58.
