ROCKFORD, OHIO— A three-run homerun from Conner Lengerich in the top of the ninth inning fueled a Jets' victory in a marathon non-conference game at Parkway Monday night, 11-8 in extra innings.
Central broke a 6-6 tie in the top of the seventh when Lengerich walked, then scored two batters later on a Cooper Hill single but the Parkway Panthers would keep the game alive with one in the bottom half thanks to an RBI single from Jenson Riley tying the game back up at 7-7.
MONROE— The Adams Central boys track squad won a decisive victory in their own AC Invitational over the weekend with a 131-point showing against the six-team field at the Hangar.
The Jets were first place over Bluffton (118) who took second followed by Northfield in third (67), Fremont in fourth (47), Southern Wells in fifth (43) and Canterbury with 19 points.
The Squaws tallied four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Friday night pulling out a come-from-behind victory against potential sectional opponent Mississinewa, 6-3.
For Bellmont (3-9), the win is their second in as many days after wiping up North Side on Thursday.
Tonight the Squaws host Mississinewa at the Teepee in a softball contest that will be broadcasted by the DDD (weather permitting). The game is slated to begin at 5 p.m. but due to the drive for the Indians, there may be a delay to the start of the contest.

MONROE— The Garrett Railroaders led 6-0 after two complete innings on Thursday night at the Hangar, but Adams Central rallied for an incredible 19 runs on 13 hits in the final three frames to earn the 19-7 victory in five innings.
A three-run homer from Noah Follett seemed to set the tone for Garrett (1-13) and a two-run blast over the fence from Dillon Diehm made it 6-0 in the second but the Jets flipped the script and the bats came alive in the third.
The Bellmont Braves dropped their third straight loss on Wednesday night entertaining the Woodlan Warriors in a non-conference battle 8-0 at the Teepee.
The Braves are now 7-3 after winning their first seven to start the year and they played without coach Ben Fawbush who served his one-game suspension for being thrown out of game two of the Huntington North double-header on Saturday.

CHURUBUSCO—The Bellmont Squaws track team set 20 season personal best times Saturday at the annual Turtle Town Invitational and ended up finishing seventh in the team standings of the Gold Division.
The Squaws didn't garner any blue ribbons in the event but that didn't stop BHS coach Carl Risch from being enthused about their performance.
