GARRETT — The Lady Jets flexed their muscles against another ACAC opponent on the volleyball court Tuesday night sweeping the Garrett Lady Railroaders 25-13, 25-18, 25-17.
Adams Central moves to 3-0 in the conference and have not dropped a set in league play yet this season.

FORT WAYNE—The young Lady Starfires fell on the road Monday night to a fundamentally sound Blackhawk Christian in a three-game sweep 25-13, 25-8, 26-24.

KINGSLAND—Bellmont used a balanced attack to neutralize the Norwell offense on Friday night at the Courtyard nabbing a convincing 49-28 victory over the Knights.
Norwell's homecoming was thwarted by the Braves from the opening drive as the disruptive Bellmont squad posted 557 yards of offense on the night including a career high 187 yards passing from sophomore quarterback Jordan Amacker who looked more comfortable throwing the football.

According to Bellmont coach Steve Lee, this has been the mantra of the 2013 BHS girls soccer team and once again it proved the deciding factor in Thursday night's away victory at Blackhawk Christian, 1-0.
South Adams suffered just their second match-play loss this season to the surging Bellmont Squaws at Cross Creek Golf Club on Wednesday evening, 193-202. On the difficult back nine at Creek, Sydney Willis found a way to beat the heat and blow away the competition once again to earn medalist honors with a 39 (3+) but her fellow Starfires could not pick up enough of the slack to keep the team score close.
