MONROE—A night after falling to Carroll on the road, the Lady Jets used what they had learned to frustrate the visiting Heritage Patriots at the Hangar on Tuesday night earning a sweep in their ACAC opener 25-23, 25-18, 26-24.
A few errors early on in the first set gave the Pats some life as the Heritage squad kept the set close throughout. The opening set featured nine ties with the final coming at 23-23.

The Chargers, one of Bellmont's fiercest rivals from 4A, looked sharp in their opening first set jumping out to a 9-2 start before the Lady Jets managed their first kill of the game off the hands of Abbey Lichtle. A combination of some out of character errors by AC and Carroll's quick start were the culprits.
