Three-run seventh for Knights sours Stars’ opener, 6-5

April 1, 2013

After weeks of unusually cold weather resulting in a mixture of snow and rain, then a spring break thrown in the mix, Monday night's opening day game against Norwell was the first time the South Adams Starfires baseball team had a chance to play on their diamond at Harry F. Anderson Field.
The result was almost a surprising one until the Knights put up three big runs in the top of the seventh to edge out the Stars, 6-5, improving to 3-1 on the season.
