Stars triumph over Tigers, 41-37; set to battle ‘Busco

February 6, 2013

BLUFFTON—In a game reminiscent to the first times Bluffton and South Adams met, the Lady Stars proved that the first time was not a fluke topping the Lady Tigers in Tuesday night's sectional opening round, 41-37.
Where 41 points was the mark for AC in a 27-point loss to Luers in game one, South Adams' 41 points was a winning tally in a game that featured plenty of defense and a grand total of 47 turnovers by both teams.

After leading for most of the first period and several minutes into round two, the Squaws made miscue after miscue allowing the Patriots to stay in the hunt.
