Boilers seek end to 7-game skid

November 14, 2013

Fumbles and critical plays still curse the Purdue football program as was demonstrated last Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium.
Iowa scored the first touchdown in nine plays and 90 yards at 11:15 in the second quarter. Purdue responded in six plays and 35 yards to tie the game 7-7.  Momentum and energy soon began to change when the Hawkeyes, with 1:57 on the clock before halftime, scored a touchdown sending the two teams into the locker rooms with Iowa leading 14-7.
