After shutting down the Bluffton Tigers on Monday night, the Squaws turned their attention to another Wells County team on Tuesday as Bellmont swept Norwell on senior night 25-22, 25-11, 25-23.
With eight seniors to juggle in the line-up, coach Craig Krull started an out of the ordinary group on the floor consisting of all fourth year players. The set-up worked well out of the gate as Bellmont led 8-4 but the Knights maintained a pesky few points back the entire opening set frustrating the Squaws at times with their spirited effort on defense.

Despite the fact that not one bracket was flawless, Sondra Anweiler was the only contestant in this week's Pigskin Picks contest to get only one game wrong and is the winner. Virginia Haugk and Timothy Anweiler finished 2nd in the results winning prizes as well with just two wrong. This week's tie-break score was 53 points and the full results including celebrity fans are as follows:
MONROE — Adams Central sophomore middle hitter Jenni Baumer followed a huge block with a shot right down the middle to squash a Norwell rally, sewing up the second set 25-23 in a three-game sweep for the Lady Jets Monday night at the Hangar.
A passing error by the Jets helped Norwell tie the set at 23-all, the fourth tie in the later stages of the set. Central returned a Rylee Werling serve, but Norwell could not come get it back over to lose the next key point, setting up Baumer's middle power surge to end the key game.
