November 14, 2012

The Squaws fell to 1-2 on the season after falling to Bishop Dwenger at the Teepee on Tuesday night, 47-34.

BERNE—Reminiscent of Bellmont/Concordia on Tuesday, South Adams' opener felt a lot like a pre-season affair against the Daleville Broncos with plenty of missed shots, turnovers, and slow offense.
When the rust settled after the final horn, the Broncos escaped with a 23-21 victory over the Lady Starfires ruining first-year coach Brett Freeman's debut.

Lady Cadets spoil Squaws' home opener, 42-25

November 6, 2012

It was not a scorer's game at the Teepee on Tuesday night as the Bellmont Squaws hosted Concordia Lutheran in their season opener losing 42-25.
By the end of the first quarter, it definitely appeared to be the first game of the season for both squads as Bellmont led 3-2 after the frame. Audrey Schultz' three-point play off of an offensive rebound with 3:40 left put the Squaws on the board for the first time as she was slapped on the arm putting the lay-up back in.
