Braves top Norwell for first time

September 7, 2012

Bellmont tennis reached a few firsts under coach Joe Selking on Thursday night when they hosted NHC-rival Norwell.
First and foremost, the Braves won the match, 3-2, marking the first time that Bellmont has defeated the Knights in tennis. Another big mark, however, was the Braves' 9-1 record, the best start in Selking's tenure at Bellmont.
The Braves picked up their three key wins from David Baker at number two singles, Mason Selking at three, and Logan Baker/Drake Reidenbach at number two doubles.
