Braves top Heritage with two in seventh

May 3, 2012

The Braves pulled the rabbit out of the hat on Wednesday night as they hosted the always feisty Heritage Patriots in a non-conference, potential sectional match-up and came out victorious after a two-run seventh inning, 3-2.
Bellmont, now 11-3 on the season, showed little offense the entire game as they were led on the defensive side by senior Landon Baker who went six solid innings allowing only the two runs for the Pats on six hits, two walks, and three strikeouts.

Squaws get marquee win against Carroll

May 3, 2012

Going into Wednesday night's Northeast Hoosier Conference game with only three wins on the season, the Bellmont Squaws hopefully found a spark that will turn their season around as they shocked NHC powerhouse Carroll by a 3-2 tally at the Bellmont diamond.
Timely hits and strong defense played the key roles for Bellmont in the win.
