MONROE — The Lady Starfires of South Adams gave the heavily favored Lady Jets of Adams Central a run for their money at the Hangar, but at the end of the night, AC was left standing with a 3-0 sweep of the Stars with the scores 25-20, 25-13, 25-17.
It looked like South Adams was going to come in and steal the first game when they blasted out of the gate on a 10-3 start causing Lady Jets coach Jeremi Schortgen to call an early timeout.
