NHC volleyball powers Bellmont and Carroll collided on the court at the Teepee Thursday night in a match that, despite the fact it was only the third of seven conference matches of the year for the two teams, was one that will more than likely determine the championship of the NHC.
That title, which has been owned by Bellmont for nearly a decade, will once again likely reside with the Squaws as they polished off the Chargers in three straight games 25-21, 25-18, 25-22 in a match that was anything but easy for either team.
Monroe— The Lady Jets of Adams Central found themselves back over .500 for the season with an impressive win against the Blackhawk Christian Braves last night in a non-conference volleyball match-up.
The Lady Jets, now 8-7 (3-2 in conference), made a clean sweep of things in front of their home crowd at the Hanger by defeating the visiting Braves in three games, 25-17, 25-23, 25-19.
