“Holly had a really good night on offense for us. It was just one of those nights where she was on and we told the setters to get her the ball as much as they could,” noted Bellmont volleyball coach Craig Krull in analyzing one of the main reasons the Squaws handled the visiting Snider Panthers in three games, 25-22, 25-13, 25-13 at the Teepee.
Appropriately enough, all three seniors on the Bellmont boys varsity soccer team found the back of the net on Senior Night Thursday evening as the Braves posted a 6-0 non-conference victory over the Woodlan Warriors.
Senior Alex Hammond, who had scored a hat trick a night before in a win over NHC foe Norwell, tallied twice for the Braves against Woodlan while fellow twelfth graders Dan Worth and Jacob Schueler each added one score. Rounding out the offense for Bellmont were scores by Andy Hess and Willie Mahlan.
